It's the butt crack of dawn on my day off and I've already been up for an hour. Sometimes I really hate my schedule. It's sad when waking up at 430 counts as sleeping in.
In happy news, I've lost three pounds in three weeks. I've got an app for my phone that tracks my calorie intake and I've got a vivofit (like a fitbit but less expensive) between the two I've been doing really well. Hell, I've even got a routine down with exercise. I don't know where the motivation came from, but I'm very pleased to have it. Of course I worry about losing it, but it takes what, I month to make a habit and I'm nearly there. I have to think positive. I'm hopeful I can loose ten or so more pounds before the cruise. I've got five months certainly I can achieve my goal, right?
I got a copy of my favorite painting,
Fallen Angels (Les Anges Déchus). It's hanging above my desk and it looks good, lol. It kinda makes me want to read Milton's Paradise Lost. I wish they sold prints of
The Grief of the Pasha as that's the other painting I like to visit when I go to the museum and I'd love to have a copy at home too.
In conclusion, let me leave you with my latest music find; Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats 'S.O.B.' (don't let the crappy music ad in front of it turn you off. damn youtube anyway. one time I actually had to sit through a movie preview to see the movie preview I wanted)
