When is your posting date? For some unknown reason, I thought it was suppose to be at the end of January.
I will attempt to answer the Tumbler question, as someone who doesn't actually have one.
Tumbler seems to be a place for posting images - gifs, art, photos, and even articles and links. Anything you want to share but don't want to bother to fill up your LJ with. I think of it as like, you know throughout the day how random images pop into your head of like Jensen-shirtless or Christian-playing the guitar? Tumbler is like tipping your head sideways and shaking it and suddenly glitter explodes out of your ear and then all the images that you keep stored inside your head just come tumbling out. <--see what I did there.
It also seems to be very ADHD at Tumbler, which could be a good thing or bad thing, depending on how you look at it. The big problem I have is that when I see something on Tumbler that I like, I never know where it orginated, so I don't know how to credit it if I save it. Also, Tumbler is kind of a black hole that you get sucked in to and come up for air two days later and realize you haven't done anything productive in days. As a person who gets easily distracted by shiny things...this Black Hole Effect is why I will never get aTumbler. I know my own faults and being easily distracted is definitely one of them. That's why me and Tumbler are probably a bad combination.
Last I checked, my posting date is 27 March. So, lots of time. At least til I fritter it away thinking I have lots of time! lol
-see what I did there I did see that. Aren't you the clever one! =D
Tumbler is just so pretty! All those pictures and art and crap. You're right though, it does have a serious Black Hole Effect. I might get one if only to put all the ones I like to look at in one place. (I think you can do that, I've avoided looking cos I know once I do I'll have a tumbler) If I do, I'll get a link up to it on my lj & dw so every one can share in my brain.
