So, last week I thought I smashed my finger. It hurt like I did but I don't remember doing it, but whatever right? I'm a spaz, shit happens. Well, it's worse this week. It's only the top joint of my index finger that hurts and only when I bend it or press on it and it is swollen up a bit. Total what the hell sort of injury since I don't remember

There is a little of that in all of us. Self-diagnosing on the internet hasn't helped us at all. I didn't used to be too bad, but since the seizure, every little thing is worrisome.
If you don't want to go to the doctor (Idk if they set fingers or not) you could always use a popsicle stick and some medical tape and just brace it yourself so it doesn't bend in the way that hurts.
Teen Titans - so, let's say I wanted to buy some for The Nephew (I still haven't decided but The BFF says she'll buy him some comics and I can buy him the bike...and I hate to be jealous but I want to buy him his first comic!) Anyways, if I did buy him something, he asked if they have any Beast Boy comics (that's actually how I decided it was time to buy him his first comic, he inquired about it). I told him I didn't know if Beast Boy had any of his own, but that there are definitely Teen Titan comics. So what would you rec for a kid just turning six?
comic collecting is like sex, except there's no orgasm to tell you when to stop.
LOL BTW, did you watch "Comic Book Men"? I loved it. They had some interesting stuff come in the store and some hysterical conversations. Plus, I have read Kevin Smith's book and have his college tour DVD, so I have heard a ton of stories about Walt and Brian and now I know what they look like (have a bit of a crush on Walt!).
I looked up George Shingleton on youtube - the quailty is kind of poor but he does a pretty good Folsom Prison Blues.
That zebra creeps me out. I mean, I can see that the people inside it are amazingly talented but watching - little creeeped out. 8)

I'd recommend finding back issues of Teen Titans Go for The Nephew. They're based on the cartoon and are easily accessible for the little guys. They've not been printed for a couple of years now, but if you ask about back issues your comic guys might be able to help. They're really popular with the young kids though so they can be hard to find.
Otherwise I'm not sure. The current Teen Titans is not for little kids, nor I think was the last volume. There's a new Young Justice comic that might be easier to find, he might like that if he's seen the cartoon.
I did catch Comic Men with the BF. It wasn't bad, although I couldn't help talking back to the tv. I think it annoyed the BF. *g* I wanted more talking between the guys, but we'll see what further episodes bring us.
I'd seen that video, he is damn good. Like I said, on StageIt he totally nailed it. It was a beautiful thing.
lol, sorry the zebra creeped you out bb

Maybe what you want is just to listen to the podcast. I'm not sure where it airs but I've heard good things about it.
