good-morning, good-morning and good-morning
I'm all chipper today. Sometimes that happens at the ass-crack of dawn. I blame it on the sleep deprivation. lol
The Boy will be home in two weeks! I miss him. Not only that, I'll finally get to see Leverage and White Collar! (we watch them together and he doesn't get to see them down there so they get saved on the dvr and I try to stay patient)
I decided to go ahead and go to the family reunion in august as well. I wasn't going to cos I can only get enough time off to spend a couple of days, but I figured I haven't seen that part of the family in long enough that even a couple of days is better than nothing.
I had to buy new pants for work. :( I hate clothes shopping with a fiery passion. However, the pants I bought are in my goal size! They are snug, but not uncomfortably so, and I muffin out over the top some, but they are my goal size. So that feels pretty damn good. I've been stuck with 15lbs to my goal weight for so long I feel like giving up. I still don't have motivation, but I feel a little better about it if I don't take off the entirety of the last 15lbs.
Hmm, is anyone watching Falling Skies? It's that alien invasion show with Noah Wylie on TNT. I am really liking it. The aliens are turning out to be pretty damn creepy. The main characters are of course the stereotypes, but not caricatures or too far to the extreme. The story line isn't anything in depth or breath-taking, but it's entertaining. And to top it off, Noah Wylie has aged amazingly well. I haven't watched him in anything since ER, and damn is he still very attractive.
In writing news, the big bang is back from beta and I'd like to publicly thank kadams27 for wading through my bad spelling and funky grammar. The next story in the Doubles!verse is going to take longer than I thought. The boys decided to start talking and are threatening to start throwing punches. Dean and Eliot are apparently fighting over Steve's virtue, all Chris is doing is laughing at them and Sam is trying to play peace-maker. This was supposed to be a fun little thing to introduce people from the other stories to each other. Not turn into drama. Eh, whatever.
Oh! our dispatch guy is on vacation for the next two weeks! This could either be really nice or really crappy. I vote nice.
Saturday was theprincesjewel's birthday, so happy belated birthday sweetie! Hope it was a good one.
