Tomorrow is dodger-sister's birthday. And since I'm not sure I'll have time tomorrow, I figured I'd post her birthday present now while I had a couple of minuets. I hope you like it bb, you referring to Jed on Justified as Gabriel gave me the plot bunny, so of course the fic is yours.

I didn't even know you were writing this. Or that I had even prompted you. You are tricksy! I know you know how much I've been wondering about what became of Jed after the finale! I love the idea of the Gabriel-dreams and the memories and oh, the imaginary friends - (I read this book once, I'll tell you about later, but this totally reminds me of that).

Also, I did get the feeling that Jed was almost family to Dickie on the show, but sadly, no one but actual family can belong with the Bennets.

And this line - Finding a band of brothers to belong with - IDK if you did that on purpose, but did you know that "Band of Brothers" was the first thing I ever saw RSjr in?

I wanted to give you a story for your birthday. I knew you'd like some taxi!verse, but couldn't come up with a thing in it, then in comments you referred to Jed as Gabriel and this was popped out. I'm really happy you like it. :)

They give secondary characters (the bad guys anyway) pretty good screen time on Justified, so I'm hopeful that Richard will be back as Jed in at least one ep next season. I really do think that with all the Bennetts but Dickie dead, and he obviously headed for serious time, Jed will feel safe enough to be a witness against Dickie and redeem himself since he can say there were threats leveled against his family or something. Idk, that's where my thoughts go anyway.

The Band of Brothers reference was on purpose to subtly plant the idea that Gabriel has lived other lives (as Richard's other characters) not as a penance, but like he's traveling through the time lines in order to be reborn as himself again.

I've been in the room doing something else while it was on and I have an idea of the plot, but that's it. In fact, besides Supernatural, Justified and the pepsi commercials I can't off the top of my head come up with other stuff Richard has been in. lol

If you do poke, it'll most likely be Justified!Gabriel you get. I've got the vaguest (really vague mind you!) sort of ideas floating in my head.

Whoa, very timely I just finished watching Justified. When I saw RSjr as Jed, I immediately thought he'd die, but was very pleased he didn't. ♥ thank you for sharing =)

Here's to hoping RSjr is in a ep or two of Justified next season, since he didn't die (I thought he would end up dead too, every one else who had dealings with Dickie died after all)
