When Am I Not Myself
What prevents me from being my true self? This weekend I watched Love, Simon, and I'm not sure how I felt about it. I'm not sure I can ever be happy with a gay movie period. I mean, I'm happy about some of the conversations and portrayals it may have broached with the general public. But also regularly find myself frustrated - It is unfair to ask one story to be able to tell all stories.
And then yesterday, I went to the beach and got to hang out with KC, Michael, and Paul. It was great.
