Assshit

I haven't slept for shit in several days, and with the Boy staying up so late so many of those days, my only "me" time has come in the small hours of the morning, linking through Wikipedia's maze of military history (fuckin' Iron Maiden lyrics, anyway) and frittering frustratingly at Free Tetris. I feel your pain. Donovan has been staying up to 11pm or later for the last week. The holidays really screwed us up.

Yeah, but check it out - he only woke up after a four-hour nap last night when woken up (the Wife's gamble paid off - we had a good night of sleep), and he went down nine-ish tonight ... I just might get to bed before two myself! :P>

I'm sorry. I'm tired, too. I hope you got a nap this afternoon. Guh, I don't know when we're going to be able to go grocery shopping!

Oh, once we got all snappy for no legitimate reason, you knew we'd find time. Yay, us!

Ah, so soon, and once your little boy arrives, even your extended pregnancy will likely seem like a blip in ancient history - in our case, history we'd just assume bury! Best wishes for the remainder of your pregnancy and the long haul that follows. As you've probably noticed, the Boy generates far more happy/proud/adorable posts than grumpy/shitty/sucky posts. You'll dig it :)>

Thanks ... I might manage to get to bed before 2am if I don't overdo my responses here - imagine that!

I e-mailed Save the Bay and told them I would return for the spring.

I don't think it was a mistake - or at least not right now anyway! Could change my mind if the 'other' job comes through.....but you can face that monster if it visits you.

I sent Save the Boy my annual contribution - they sent me a bumper sticker and a schedule or activities I could participate in. Maybe this year.... Will you do any of those?

Ah, nice to see that my yammering hasn't deterred you from Saving the Boy - he has a great organization with a mission I take to heart, even if I complain about the job much here ;D> He he! Two jokes for one!

Barring meetings with certain monsters, I will likely co-instruct many of the public-type programs on Saturdays and I'd love to have you along. We'll swap schedules soon, and hopefully connect at Sulfur Creek much sooner.
