Wow an update!
Went to my parents last night for dinner. And also to finally clean out some of my old stuff from their attic. See, I have an attic of my own now to clutter, and they would like very much for me to sort through all the crap I've been keeping.
Taking everything down from the attic quickly covered a 6'x6' area of their living room floor. Ugh! Time to sort through it all....
o My starwars action figure and space ship collection
o All of my transformer/go-bots/3rd party knock off transformable robots
o A metric-buttload of lego(tm) building blocks. With all their instructions and original boxes
o My pinewood derby cars, including the 1st place trophy
o My grade school science fair posterboards.
o My college text books and note books.
o My HIGH SCHOOL note books. (Hey, you never know when you might want to reference your notes on the ottoman empire!)
o A stack of book covers for text books from grade school. (WTF?)
o Various plastic models. (Robotech, tanks, aircraft carriers, starwars, etc)
o My 1st communion items (rosary, candles, etc)
o My cub scout uniform
o Various holiday teddy bears my mom got me while i was in college.
o My Charlie Brown Encyclopedia set.
o Various other favorite books I had when growing up. (Dinosaurs, space weapons, UFO's, etc)
o A model of DNA, made out of copper piping and styrofoam balls, about 3ft tall.
o A model of the human heart, using marbles to represent blood, that you rock back and forth to cause the blood to flow through the chambers and circulatory system.
o Soccer uniforms from when i was 12.
o My hand drawn designs for lego creations that I would make when I was bored in my grade school classes. :) Most of which, i did build, btw.
o and probably more....
Now, I leave it to you to guess what I kept and what I threw away. :P
