Meeting People
I need to meet new people. My old group of friends, all but one is either not in Ames or is almost impossible to get together to do anything with. I'm horribly bad with this type of stuff, which would not surprise anyone who has met me. I'm people stupid.
I would like to get to meet more people, really. However, I don't really know where to start. Freshman year was easy for me. Of course I have goals to make friends, perhaps even find myself a new girl friend.
So anyone have any suggestions on how to meet said new people? Anyone know of anything going on in Ames good for that sort of thing or perhaps would like to hang out and such?
I guess I have a lot of interest, but I'm not really a big go out to the bars and party type of person. I don't mind going out with some people for drinks, but really the clubbing or barhopping scene is just not my thing.
