Sure on the ideals it is a good idea. But in practicality does it mean anything if no one is asking any questions?

Anyways, in this case what bothers me is not only do they do this at the press confrences but they do it to no name guests they invite onto their shows. They let them say whatever they want without ever questioning the validity of it.

I guess what really bothers me is at some point do we really have the rights left if no one is out there practicing them. What would happen to a news organization who tries to do some real reporting in 5 or 10 years if this continues?
