I Am In Aruba!
The water is fucking amazingly gorgeous. The sand is white and powdery.
There are many tourists here. MANY. Many families, many teenagers. Much touristy stuff.
Got here late this afternoon, in just enough time to run to my room, throw on my bathing suit and watch the sun set as I stood in the water. The sunset was pretty. I'm guessing the water will be spectacular in the daylight.
So. Yeah. I'm here. And I'm hooked up online, so although I can't make calls unless I trek to a public phone that takes international pre-paid calling cards, I'm connected to home, which is nice.
Tomorrow I'm hanging on the beach, babies.
Oh, btw, it's 81 degrees here at 10:48 p.m.
It was starting to flurry in NY when I boarded the plane.
