Before the Devil Knows You're Dead
Treated myself to this movie tonight. Philip Seymour Hoffman always rocks in whatever he's in, but Ethan Hawke surprised the hell out of me by kicking SERIOUS ass. Even more surprising, Marisa Tomei rose to the occasion.
Pretty fucking dark movie, though.
Next time: Possibly "I'm Not There"...I got a free pass for answering a survey after the flick tonight, so I won't be pissed about spending TWELVE DAMNED DOLLARS to see it. When did the price of a ticket go up by a buck? It hasn't been THAT long since I went to the movies!
BTW, I am SO looking forward to Sweeney Todd. Just in time for the holidays!
