I've Been Sworn In
I've sworn allegiance to the Queen; I'm now a Private in the Canadian Forces.
It's about fucking time. Unfortunately, full-time summer training is booked full, so I need to wait until September for part-time training. Something might open up in August, but I'm not holding my breath about that. The military sure puts this "hurry up and wait" shit to the test. That's disappointing, because I've been really eager to get in some training and earn some cashbux. I gotta find some way to supplement my income, outside of commissions.
Still, I'm in now. I gotta pick up my camo and beret on Wednesday.
