Spending the rest of the afternoon into early evening reading about secret societies within Christianity/Catholicism and fuck no I'm not reading the Da Vinci Code.
This is research for a paper in my Religion and Film class.
Does anyone know of any good movies that discuss this topic other than The Order and (maybe) Stigmata? I need one more to complete works cited requirements.
Tonight I must write a three-minute movie script to be filmed tomorrow for another one of my classes. I've developed a pretty cool look using various techniques that include a red gel filter and messing with the gain. Digital video never quite looked like ancient film like the way I do it! I think this is an accomplishment.
Last night I saw Jarhead and thought it was really good. I love Jake Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard and early nineties music and war films that aren't really war films. The book is on my list to read.
I also raided the local comic store for Green Lantern back issues but, sadly, only found ten issues (for a total of four dollars). Maybe I'll have more luck at the comic store I'll visit back home when I go back for Thanksgiving break.
