I don't know why RansSite broke today. For those of you that visit those forums, here's a back up board in the interim until I fix it: http://gloriousrobot.com/invision/index.php If I don't get the phpBB forums fixed tomorrow during work then the temp board will have to due for awhile. Here's why:
My parents were supposed to come visit this Saturday. They haven't seen the apartment set up with the new furniture yet and they wanted to drop off the badly-needed air conditioner and the highly-desired LCD monitor. However, the girlfriend heard back from her aunt. This extended weekend (we get both Friday and Monday off for some reason. I only expected Monday.) is the only weekend before I leave for Vermont that we can have their Maryland home to ourselves. So I rescheduled the parents until Monday and now late Thursday night (after seeing War of the Worlds with some other people) it's off to a few days of R&R in the sun. I'm going to turn off my cellphone and stay the fuck away from the Internet. Which means, if I don't fix it tomorrow, no forums until next week.
I spent the night cleaning and organizing things so that my parents think someone actually lives here.
I, uh, haven't been exactly lying to you guys but I have been, well, not telling the whole truth.
Maybe eventually.
