Yay for Shopping! :D
So, I went to some CD/DVD store today, and I got the Imogen Heap CD Speak for Yourself. I love it so much, so I ripped some of the songs to my hard drive for safe keeping. :D;; I also got two Enya CD's that I have yet to listen to. One of them is Watermark and the other one is The Memory of Trees. I love Imogen Heap and Enya. They're both very relaxing to listen to, and they're great for inspiration when I feel like writing something. Two of my favorite artists, I must say. Anyway, talking about music is kinda...hard to do without sounding dorky. At least, it is when I talk about it. xD; Anyway, I also got three DVD's, and I'm SO happy I decided to buy them.
One of them is my favorite movie, the foreign film, Les Choristes AKA The Chorus. I love the music from that film, and I actually have the soundtrack thanks to my friend Smithy (Elliana, but I call her Smithy). Sheesh, the kids in that movie just really tug at my heart, you know? They're so cute! Especially Pèpinot (Not sure if I got the right accent, there). Morhange is really sweet too, though; he's rebellious!love. xD I also got Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights. Yes, yes, yes! I don't care if Javier is paired up with the main character. He is HOT~! ♥ Incidentally, I saw this movie in my Spanish class. Needless to say it brought about a second wind for paying attention. ^^; Hmm...what was the other movie? Oh! The Breakfast Club. I adore that movie! The kid who got detention for bringing a gun to school (I can't remember his name right now...) looks so much like my friend Gabe! It's really scary, actually! Partly the reason I bought it, actually. xD
Uh, on another note, my "cute" little dog bit me in the face the other day. =_= It was nothing serious, but there was plenty of blood considering head wounds bleed quite a bit. I don't think it'll scar, and it's already scabbed over for the most part. He's got tiny teeth, so it's not noticeable. But, it was so mean! I go over to lean over to say goodnight to him, and CHOMP! Thanks, pooch. D<
But, yeah. I slept over at
ultror's house the yesterday, and she proceeded to get sick to her stomach and develop a fever. But, we did manage to catch up on our Nintendogs games! I bought a new dog, too! He's a Shetland Sheepdog, and I named him Mhimz! >:D He's a fat slowpoke, but he's smart! I might enter him in an obedience contest once I teach him more than his name and to sit on command.
Other than that, everything has been plain and boring. I have no life...-sigh- T.T
