Hmmm...I went to a lake today and rowed a boat. It was fun, I guess. I'd have liked to have stayed at home to browse the Internet, but things don't always go my way, of course, so I went to the lake with my mom and stepfather, and we...did stuff. Then we left because it got super boring. So, yeah, that killed about half of my day, but we got attacked by geese and I got some cool pictures, so that was a plus.
Onto more interesting things, I've started watching Prince of Tennis again. I'd stopped on the fiftieth episode or so, but I'm watching it again, and now I'm on seventy-two. Wow, that's a lot of progress. It was funny, too, so I'm glad I kept up the watching or I'd have missed out. I think the Tenipuri fandom is one of my favorites. I don't know why, but everyone just seems so much cheerier and open to some wacky ideas, and the anime itself is realistic and playful at the same time. I have friends that, although they hate the series, are exactly like come of the characters, so it's a treat to get to watch an episode and then go hang out with them. I plan to finish the series ASAP, and I'm trying to learn the names of the faces that I see. Gosh, there are so many characters, though! xD -dies-
Aaand...that's pretty much my day. I start my community service assignment tomorrow at a camp where I'll be supervising small children. Hopefully I'll get to watch the older kids this time because the smaller ones, cute as they are, aren't quite as independent and make me run around like crazy to do their bidding. And, even though the older kids are smart-mouths, I like my bosses more in that area, and there's a bit more of a calmness (plus you don't have to bend over to talk to people). Hopefully it'll go well; the first day is always super awkward.
