This, at least, makes sense.

Yet another snow day. This one, at least, makes perfect sense. The snow that started sticking to the roads at about 4 p.m. yesterday (after school would have been out for an hour and half for the hs, and half an hour for the elementaries) has caused a Level 2. THIS is a reason you cancel school. Yesterday was a bust.
So another day tacked onto the end of the year. This is still annoying because we've had at least three days that I can can count that the teachers and staff of the buildings were left with the question of, "Uh ... why were we off yesterday?" Even kids have come into the buildings and said, "Uh ... why were we off yesterday?". I really wish I understood the rationale behind the superintendent and the head of transportation's decisions for snow days, because I'm not seeing much logic in it.
Then again, why would they tell me. I'm only a teacher with 120 kids saying to me each day, "Why do we have a snow day today?"
Oh well. I'm up, so I think I'll stay up for awhile.
