seriously. I wish i'd been at home for the peter doherty mtv bonanza. could have watched that on stupidly big tv, the point of which has never been apparent to me before now. Mmmmmm.
got put to work on wards today. chased some bloods. much less exciting than it sounds! I used to imagine there was actual chasing involved, but no. sadly is just finding blood results on the computer, and writing them down in the notes. sigh. did get to take blood off a lot of 90 year olds though, always an excellent challenge. got needle a bit caught in one woman's wrinkly antecubital fossa at one point. oops. oh elasticity, how you are mourned...
