I was walking down St. Paul to my friend Rachel's house which is two streets from mine... well this blue neon starts driving pretty slow and I look and the guy behind the wheel - dark skinned - I can't remember the ethnicity and he waves to me so I wave back thinking it was the parent to one of my friends that I forgot. He stops by again and tells me to get in, and I said "uhm, no, I live pretty close, it's okay!"
He insisted so I walked over maybe it was someone I knew but I said to myself, if he tries to kill me, I'll try to defend myself!
I sit in and he says "I'll drive you where you want to go"
and I said "I live right down this street" (lieing, saying I live down Barry) and he passes by it, he says "nice day, I like to drive" and I said "No, I gotta' be home or else my Mom's going to feed me to the rats"
he said "You look good"
me: "thanks..."
"do you want good time?"
"uhm, no, I'm not like the cool kids. Hey! I don't mean to be rude, can you just drop me off here on the side of the road"
"sure"
"THANK YOU"
I shook his hand playing all polite and I ran away. GOOD GOD! I've finally learned my lesson, horror movies come in handy folks, don't you forget that. I started thinking of the scene in FRIDAY THE 13th when Mrs. Voorhees picks up Annie and drives her off into the woods and kills her after she pleads for the driver to stop.
But it's not all about horror movies... I should've learned all those facts from the Winnie The Pooh - say no to strangers video.
