(**) I'm still not sure this is a good translation because I fail at non-Kansai slang. If someone has a better way of wording it, please, I'd love to hear it (editited after some discussion with gshock99 about 'chitta').
(***) Less literally, this is very much a 'don't talk, save your strength' line.
