Oh, wow. I'm seeing LJ again. *sparkles*
It is so hard to get into the LJ homepage from Beijing, I don't know why -- though most probably because of the same reason I still couldn't access Wikipedia. The proxy sites aren't working for this one. I think I've missed about half a year of news and even though I am very put out, am not willing, for

Good to hear from you again!! ♥
I was wondering if you were still in Indonesia (I even went to dig up my old phone bills trying to see if I had your number...since, I do remember that you called home from my house phone once. But, no such luck. I did feel kind of stalker-ish trying to find your number that way.)
China blocks a lot of sites, I've heard? I have no idea how internet and whatnot works over there though. I've only heard bits and pieces from my uncle that lives in Shanghai.
But wow, studying in Beijing? Sounds really exciting, among other things. Studying Chinese, you say?
Speaking of Chinese, I'm taking a Chinese linguistics course this semester. It's killing me...but fascinating all the same. The professor amuses me a lot.
And, I'm graduating in...three weeks. It's a scary notion. I'm still not too sure what to do afterwards. Grad school for Education is what I have in mind, but I haven't really given it enough thought yet.

China does block a lot of sites and it's a wonder why suddenly I can access LJ without any problems. But I won't know the extent of the blockade until I try it one by one.
And yeah, I'm studying Chinese *sheepish* I realize that whatever snippets of Chinese I had before wasn't enough for myself. So... here I am. Btw, what is Chinese linguistics? It sounds hard!
But the major shocker is...in three weeks?! Congrats! Are you almost done with all of your classes? I bet you can't wait for the day you can wear that toga. :D
Why Education?

I didn't have much requirements to fulfill this semester, just needed to have enough units to graduate. Last day of class is May 8th. Graduation's on the 12th!! I still have two finals after graduation though. Boo.
I want to teach ESL. :D I might find some kind of teaching job for a year before applying to grad school.

Do you want me to email you half a year's worth of news? There's nothing against emails in China --- it's so good to hear from you again!
lemme know how you've been doing
Well, I'm half-way through college (I'm pretty set on doing i-banking afterwards) and have two classes left in my Economics major; I still have plenty left for Classics. I got a rabbit last summer for 4th of July (he's like a miniature puppy) and thought a lot about transferring to another school but finally decided to stay at Wellesley. <3

It sounds like you've known what you're going to do! It's really good to 'see' you again, Aei. Missed you. Missed a lot of things, too. But I haven't forgotten that rabbit -- the blood-thirsty rabbit whose name now escapes me. xD
Are you still actively writing?

BTW, did you see the pictures? They're uploaded on Facebook. (Can you access Facebook?)
The food sounds delicious!

I cannot access Facebook because of one stupid reason: I forgot my username and password. T______T If you can just e-mail it to me?
Are you still involved in the fandoms? It's silly, but I'd really like to know. How's school and such?

Well, it's just your school e-mail for the username, but yeah, the pw bit is kind of hard. ;__; The pictures sizes are pretty big - do you have a gmail account or just the yahoo one? I'd hate to fill up your inbox.
Well, as involved as I ever am . . . I've been swamped with school though, so I haven't written much lately. -__-;; School sucks (as usual). Hopefully am graduating in less than a month, though . . . Still don't have a job. D:
P.S. Our poor little comm is kind of dead . . . ;___;

You are graduating in less than a month? Oh, wow, finally, a lawyer! What specialized field are you interested in? It won't be something along copyright infringement, now, would it? *shifty eyes*
You must be very busy with all those finals so no wonder fandomination must wait. xD Ever thought of taking a break before joining the labor force? You can come to Beijing...
And... about that comm. Hmm, must catch up with One Piece first before I can write new SanRo. Afterwards, we'll see if this access to LJ is permanent -- the Internet may suddenly decide that it's a glitch and fix it. -.-;; Anyways, we'll revitalize it!
