Jaroslav \j(a)-ros-lav, jar(o)-slav\ as a boy's name is of Slavic origin, and the meaning of Jaroslav is "beauty of spring".
I love nail polish and all that, but I'm not about to proclaim myself an addict or start an blog about it. Of course, it would be awesome if I did the latter, because if I got famous enough, companies might start sending me their products to review. Free stuff makes me incredibly happy to say the least.
I currently have a sizable collection for a normal nail polish addict, so I've long ago revolved to stop buying polishes unless I really, really wanted it. To say the least, I have experienced many a time when I desperately wanted Sinful Colors and Wet 'n Wild to come out with some amazing colors so that I can incorporate some new colors to my collection. However, if I'm lucky, my mother might be able to pick up a bottle or two of nail polish from work. Recently, she brought two home, and I'll be featuring one in this entry.
This is an unnamed Sephora Collection nail lacquer in two coats and no top coat. It is a dark maroon color that is meant to be a one-coater.
Honestly, I find their SEPHORA by OPI collections a lot more interesting than their own house brand nail polish. So, to say the least, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this polish actually was. In one coat alone, it wasn't completely opaque, but it was good enough for jazz. If you're in a hurry to change nail color, this isn't a choice as no one will notice the opacity. However, I'm pretty sure anal about it, so I went with two coats for the principle of the matter.
I liked the color and polish pretty well, but I ended up giving it to my mother instead, because it made my hands look like they belonged to a thirty-year old matronly teacher. I know I'll eventually reach that age someday, but until I do, I'm staying away from things that increase my age by the decade.
