So the only other person with a grain of sense in this place appears to have gone. And where has the Master run off to?

Rayne. A warden with common sense.

I've heard of you. You do seem to be one of the more straightforward sorts here. Though that may not be saying much.

Calling a spade a spade doesn't make me many friends.

Not that I actually care about that...

I have never found it particularly useful to dwell on the emotions of others.

Me, neither. I usually just kill bad things.

"Bad things"? By what criteria do you make that judgement?

Well, they're usually big monsters with fangs who've risen up from hell and declare the need to kill every living thing, so... Y'know.

Interspecies conflict, then. I see.

I don't know why she decided to go all pedantic. :\ rani_ushas November 6 2009, 22:19:24 UTC
Of course, just because something is inimical to your existence does not make it objectively "bad". Merely subjectively.

Because she is the Rani! rayney_day November 6 2009, 22:23:08 UTC
Yeah... It kinda' does, actually.

Most judgements of "bad" or "good" are based on moral systems that are by no means universal. I can be persuaded to see that the sorts of incursions that lead to widespread universal collapse are "bad", but only because it is a highly inefficient use of the system.

Honey... If it's trying to kill me, it's bad.

"Honey"?

That is a typically self-centred view.
