I'm sorry for not being able to write stuff of late. A lot of things happened in the last three weeks and most of them were 'disastrous'. Though I'm quite relieved that the series of unfortunate events didn't spill onto my academic and semi-professional life. I guess there will always be a part of us that takes control of ourselves taking hold of whatever sanity and vestige of pragmatism is left and turn things around at the last hour.
I'll start with the worst.
I had the misfortune of having 85% of my digital files corrupted by a hard drive partitioning gone awry. That must have been some ominous power outage that really came at a bad time when my laptop's batteries were short on juice. And it just had to happen three days after my JUMP No. 1 CDs arrived via courier. As of this writing, I'm really really considering of starting over from scratch and deleting all the corrupted material on one disk partition. That includes starting fresh on blog entries that I had already readied for posting in this site. After almost a week of trying to recover one corrupted file after another, I've finally decided to symbolically go of the past. Hehehe. I'm the sentimental type so it's been really hard for me to do wipe clean a slate that I've poured all my time, effort and even heart into writing, compiling and organizing. <(T_T)>
At least my next week's part-time job-free. I'll make use of that time and come up with some new material. First on my list would be my own review of JUMP No. 1. I should be able to line-up a few ideas for entries to be posted on a weekly basis at best.
