I'm now a Johnny's fan.
Okay. It's official: I'm now a Johnny's fan. Well, today's a date that will live on in both personal gratification and hormonal infamy. KYAH!!!
I officially got 'hooked' to all things Johnny's when I came across a YouTube vid of Hey! Say! JUMP's "Your Seed" PV. And it slowly brought out a little of my Japanese heritage in me. So kakkoi these guys. I think I'd be having a nosebleeds from hereon out. It's such a spectacular sight to see ten teenagers do a dance pop thing with an Oriental theme to it.
And yes, it was hard not to miss the cuties! I've already fallen in love with three of them: Chinen Yuri, Morimoto Ryutaro and Yamada Ryosuke. In minutes, I was scouring for online articles that had HSJ content in them. I couldn't stop talking about it to my friends, neighbors, parents and even to my pet tabby kitten, Suzie (Suzaku). Speaking of my parents, it was such a revelation that my dad idolized some of the older Johnny's talents back in the day. Yep, back in the day, it was people like Kondo Masahiko and groups like SMAP, Shounentai, Tokio, and Hikaru Genji for him. Although he admits that he also admires the later groups like V6, Arashi, Kinki Kids, NEWS, and Kanjani8 (he says that the Osaka-ness of Kanjani8 is fun to listen) and occasionally listens to them from time to time. My dad and I instantly hit it off with our knowledge of Johnny's stuff!
