Anyone got some really good sources of information on webdsites discussing vaccinations. It could be magazine style articles, news bulletins, medical sites etc. It doesn't matter whether it is for or against vaccination. I'm needing them for an assignment. I don't mind whether it is in favour of vaccinations or opposed to them.

And in Lucy news...

Yesterday we had another bad napping day but I was impressed with how well Lucy handled it despite being obviously overtired. I think she did a total of about 1.5 hours sleep during the day and most of that was in a single nap at the beginning of the day. I then went around to Mum's place and couldn't get her to sleep there thanks to her falling asleep briefly on the way. So I ended up coming home and by that time she was into overtired mode where you have to work really hard to get them to nap. By 5 pm I could see that pushing the issue really wasn't going to help. She'd slept for 1/2 hour at most around 2 pm and that was going to be it for the rest of the day. She was doing okay so long as I wasn't trying to get her to sleep but was just a wee bit grizzly every now and then but she kicked up a huge fuss if I tried to get her to sleep. I figured she would sleep at night time when she was ready like she always does, so stopped trying to push it but just made sure she didn't get too stimulated and she was happy enough with that. I managed to get her into bed a few minutes earlier than normal. I'd hoped to get her in sooner but you can't rush these things with a baby. She wouldn't eat until she was ready and she wouldn't go to bed for the night before she had completely filled up of course. This morning she still looked a bit overtired and so took longer to settle into her first nap but now she's having a good long one so hopefully she'll be all caught up by the time she wakes up.

Oh and she plays with a teddy bear now. She's not really gripping it yet but if I give it to her she manages to play with it rather successfully with her flat hands, cuddle it, move it into her mouth. She's also looking a bit more controlled with her teething ring and managing to slide the moving parts backwards and forwards. I think it'll be a matter of days before she is managing it properly.
