forgotten but remembered

Alright so now from time to time im gunna take a lyric from a song that i like and analyze the metaphores/symbolyzim/irony/foreshadowing and all that other b/s ms. braun taught us of that lyric.

it will probably bore u guys but who cares.

"All I know now is regret, it follows like a silhouette
along the cobblestone behind me, but has nothing to
say except to innocently ask, a voice as delicate as
glass, "Do you see me when we pass?" but I continue on
my way."

Norma jean "memphis will be laid to rest"

I THINK what the dude is trying to get accross is that he did something stupid that he regrets (probably having to do with a female) but she keeps coming back and he cant forget her even though he wants her completly out of his life. He technically has feelings for her still yet he cant show them because she loves someone else. so in the end he ignores her as they cross paths later on the road (meaning life). see no one wins really everyone loses, everyone is sad all because of one mistake that could have easily been prevented.

o and by the way i figure im getting good at this giving advice thing so if anybody needs any im more then welcome to give u help on no matter what u need help on.
