Warning, rage blackout ahead.

SO, we open in a poorly disguised Indiana Jones movie, with two people running from machines, where they end up in a cave, and basically go about proving themselves to be the worst archaeologists since Indiana Jones and Lara Croft. They also scream a lot ( Read more... )

mentor ftw, centered on: tanya, consult a map already, centered on: jason, random relatives, 5 fish, season 4: the adam/tanya show, rage inducing

Magneto versus zords: hilariously one-sided. I need to see this.

Billy would probably just recreate all the Zords out of plastic overnight. But the first fight would be hilarious.

Any excuse to literally film the toys, eh?

Five or six? Kat, Adam, Rocky, Billy...I can't think of a fifth one. (Based on the fact that the bad guys love to attack Tommy, and the fact that Tommy's memory sucks, yeah.)

Herself. Zordon. Alpha.

I still don't see why she had to give the key to anyone - it belongs to her.

I guess the writers couldn't figure out how to have the "bad guys use the key on Auric" footage happen while Tanya had the key on her on the island.

Why they didn't just do the "Tanya's parents are actually still alive, she has to maybe let them die to save the world" plot one episode, the "she got the key from them, villains steal it and try to/succeed at using Auric" plot the next, I don't know. It's not like they were against story arcs at this point in the series.

Because there's not a reason why Tanya would "need" to give up that key that aren't full of aaaall kinds of fail. It's probably best the show didn't try to explain why.

They were against story arcs that didn't have Tommy as the focus.

so it's okay if Auric the Conqueror knows who Zordon is but not the Gold Ranger...

Bulk and Skull lose another of Detective Stone's cars
And stone said the other one was crushed last week and that was four epoides ago...that's a long week

Tanya has known Jason for ALL OF THREE EPISODES and this is STUPID.
and if stone is right it hasn't even been a week...just so wrong

The problem I had with this was it was so rushed! We got Tanya's parents and Auric in one episode.

Wow that would have been quite the dick move if Zordon hadn't let her go to find her parents. I don't think I would have just hung my head like Tanya, I would have has some choice words for him.

Yeah I'm not really sure why the key had to leave the command center.

This would have been GREAT as a two-parter. Unfortunately...

It was one of the less dickish moves that Zordon has done, for real.
