Man, this just goes to show how much things have changed. These days, Bulk's parents would be in Caplan's office with a lawyer (if not several) before the school day was over if they heard about Ms. Applebee laughing at their son.
One would wonder if Skull's parents had ever looked into the possibility that their child was an ADHD child.
Billy's impossible science takes me right out of this episode. And it pisses me off because I love Billy almost as much as I love Alan Spaulding (RIP).
Did Zordon and Alpha at least recycle all that paper they wasted? It would have been a lot more entertaining if Trini had gone off on them for wasting all that paper only to find out that the Command Center duo have been recycling for years and are simply using the Rangers to bring recycling to Angel Grove. Of course, they had to teach about pollution first and then on to recycling. Baby steps and all.
The Shield of Cheap Bling still looks infinitely more awesome on Jason than it did on Tommy. Or rather, it looks infinitely more awesome on the actor playing the Red Ranger in the stock footage from Japan than it did on the actor playing the Green Ranger in the stock footage from Japan.

SERIOUSLY. I used to teach high school, and if I had EVER done anything like that, I would have been fired so fast.

One wonders if either of them ever got tested for a learning disability at all. That was my guess for them.

It really did. I also wonder if Jason getting the Shield of Cheap Bling is what let him become more enthusiastic in his morphin cries.
