(no subject)
Okay I’ve been missing in action for a while. Some idiot down the road dug up the phone lines a couple of weeks ago and it took the wonder that is BT over a week to get it all sorted out and everything back working again which was really bloody annoying.
Then I was away on a training course for a week, which turned out to be a total waste of everyone’s time
We’ve been watching the football and it’s a bit late to comment on it all so far now but can I just say on tonight’s game.... What the fuck was Beckham thinking with that first penatly kick??? I could have made a better shot that that. Of course its not the first time he’s choked on a shoot out is it. You just expect better from your bloody captain....What a tosser he is. Bad luck about Wayne Rooney and only about 20 minutes in too. That might have made a difference but good luck to Portugal their game got better as the match went on. But i'm really disappointed that we didn't go through to the semis :(
My brother Dean rang last night and said that he a Ginny are pregnant, my first reaction was congratulations, and glad it’s not me. I’m getting a bit fed up with people telling me that my biological clock is ticking. I like kids when they are somebody else’s but I’ve yet to be bitten by the *maternal bug* myself and sometimes I doubt that I ever will. Jeff and I are happy enough now and I don’t see that having kids will make things better. I really don’t understand why some people think that a couple isn’t complete unless they have a baby.
Speaking of babies Jeff and I are thinking of getting another dog (how’s that for a good segue) The woman that we got Tara and Bully from has a new litter of springers and she called us last week and asked us over to have a look. I’m sure that was a good marketing ploy on her part LOL. They are adorable and I wanted one the moment I saw them, I’m thinking a female will bring the balance of the house into proportion and Bully can certainly handle another lady around I’m sure.
Anyway I've got an early start in the morning so i'm off to bed
