Drug update!
Ha! Just made a list of 25 bands I'd seen, on a reply to someone's post. Wow.. I have seen more than 25 bands, but I couldn't remember all of them, especially the opening acts for a lot of bands, unless they were the reason I went to the shows. Anyways.. Just got back from the allergist, and this is week 1 of my shots. I think they did me for like trees and pollen due the the overwhelmingly gorgeous weather we're having. Off Prednisone is like every day is a gift. Ha! I sound like a born-again or something. Something like that. Me off of mind-altering drugs makes me reconsider wanting to go ON concentrating-enhanced drugs, especially after reading Missy's post about the withdrawls from Paxil and such. Rob and I are doing better, after a week or so of crappiness. He's still sleeping, as we generally get to bed around 4 a.m. but I'm trying to put in an effort to get some work done... after I post, cause I have slight amount of energy. Eyes are tired as fuck, but I have motivational energy. I got my DV cam! It's decent. No mic jack, and the headphone jack appears to be busted. Low-light is so-so for image, and audio, you have to be close to record any decent audio, so I'll likely use Rob's mini-disc recorder for my purposes. I think I'll be using it for additional footage, as my teacher seems to believe I have a lot of footage that I need to find a use for... that and I'll use my cam for digitizing. Once I get back home and have cable internet again, I'll be able to do streaming video chat! Haha. Anyways... I wonder what else is going on? I'm decreasing the amount of drugs I'm on, which makes me soo happy. I finished the last dose of antibiotics last night which is great, cause I hate antibiotics. With that, I also am done with lactobacillus. This sucks too cause I'm due for another pap in two months to check on the abnormal one I had a few months back, which will also show up abnormal cause of the antibiotics! Ha! But also, I'll likely have to find a planned parenthood, rob says the one in W.Hartford is real good, for my pap this summer, as I'll be off insurance. My allergist is real cool about the whole being off insurance, as he says he'll continue treating me free of charge. Isn't that amazing? He's a god-send, as the packet of information concerning my allergy shots informs me that I'll be taking them for 3-6 years.. the trial period being 3-6 months.. if I don't respond in that trial period, then I'll likely have to nix the whole thing. That sucks. I hope my fucking body responds. I'm trying to do something good for it, for once, god damnit. I want to get the necessary antigens so my autoimmune system doesn't kick in. Ha! That AIDS class helped me in remembering shit like this. :)
