Piled higher. and Deeper.

Today RJ Pittman, the Director of Product Management at Google, and a Umich Computer Engineering alum, gave a lecture in EECS 496 (the class that goes with senior design). He talked about working for startups and being among on the team that built the first node of the internet (in a non-Al Gore manner), Moore's Law, and about there being a shit ton of people in China. He has a eight month old daughter. She is named Alexi. Part of her naming was based on the availability of Alexi.Pittman@gmail.com. This is a reason not to marry a CS major. Oh shit.

I've had way too much food the last few days. I attend meetings for my student orgs, go to corporate tech talks, and salvage left over food from wherever. I am perpetually in a state of food coma. Either that, or this is just a result of staying up really late and waking up really early. Presently my bag smells like hummus. Jerusalem Garden is some quality meeting food.

I presented new MSA website earlier in the week. Things are looking good. Public launch sometime next week, hopefully.

Everyone is getting sick. This is scary. Supposedly there's someone I might know that has both H1N1 and meningitis. Brutal.
