April Sucks
1. UTA didn't accept me into their music school. That's ok, because I was kind of expecting it.
2. I can't do the fake-a-music-major thing I was planning on doing because the classes are limited to majors only, and guess what I am not allowed to be.
3. Randy's Car is a Fucking Money Pit:
A. Two new tires ($150)
B. New headlight, license plate lights ($20), set a court date for November to get the ticket dismissed.
C. Random sputtering two weeks ago, broken belt, burnt spark plug, bad electrical connections ($90)
D. Blown fan bearings, more broken belts, miscellaneous repairs required to pass state inspection and state inspection ($560) Note: this was FRIDAY (three days ago).
E. Today's installment - some more fucking choking when shifting, but not rough shifting to indicate transmission problem. Likely timing belt. (~$200)
F. Over the age of 24, no longer qualify for good student discount ($80?)
4. Eight page paper on Allen Ginsberg that I should have done a month ago due on Wednesday. At least I have three concerts all over the goddamn metroplex between now and then. Apparently I don't need to sleep.
Is this month over yet? Jesus.
