they call us the violent youth... what the hell is up with that. when we listen to our music what do we hear? the same message said over and over, power to the worker, power to the people, power to the peaceful. how violent is that? when we are the ones marching against imperialistic warmongering, against environmental degredation, against bigotry and hate, against ignorance, how are we the violent ones. we who say books not bombs are the ones accused of being violent. we who want the power to be firmly back in the hands of the workers, who despise the fat-cats making millions off the blood and sweat of the working class, who want nothing more than to live in a totally egalitarian society, we are the violent ones? i think not, and i think that it is high time that we stop letting them call us that!
