Xmas weekend
Lovely long weekend in Central Oregon with the family. Very mellow this year, with a minimum of Xmas angxt. The weather was frosty, which was quite beautiful on the junipers and strings of Xmas lights. Basically just sat around and talked and ate a lot. Wonderful food, wonderful family. On Saturday my nephew, sister-in-law, and I drove to Bend to see Avatar in 3D, but it was sold out. Shoulda bought tickets online. However, that was a pretty minor fly, as far as the ointment goes. After much discussion and research, it appears we'll be going to Roatán island in Honduras for our family trip on spring break.
Santa gave everybody in the family their choice of University of Oregon or Oregon State University shirts or sweatshirts, except for my mom, who got a Portland State University shirt. Here's a picture of my sister and her daughter and son-in-law in front of a frozen tree on Xmas day:
