Picked up the DVD of this movie in the wake of Patrick Swayze's death. I had previously seen most of it a couple of times on commercial TV, which means that I had also missed a lot of it, especially at the beginning ( Read more... )

My list of movies I want to watch again is much longer than the ones I want to watch a first time, but I rarely get around to them.

I'm not sure either of those things is true for me. For one thing, I own a lot of DVDs now, and I definitely rewatch some of my favorites a lot. Also, I'm constantly reading about more movies that I've never seen and would like to see, and it's certainly true that there are more movies that I haven't seen than that I have seen.
