Over the past few weeks, I've been really busy. I spent two weekends working at the lit fest - I was doing 10 - 14hr shifts so wound up bloody knackered. Really enjoyed it, though. A day after the last day of lit fest, I went to Manchester with work for a two day conference. By the time Easter came I was properly running on empty! Feel much better

It's fine to have other interests and activities on the go, but there's another saying about "burning the candle at both ends" and you don't want to risk jeopardising your employment at T&F by being sleepy, exhausted and non functional. Sorry - boring words of advice, but just bear this in mind when planning your new action plan.
Now treating Auntie Colleen is a GREAT action plan, and I have it all worked out. You can start by baking muffins on a monthly basis, treating her to your culinary delights, and generally just buying her expensive things. "When can I start?!" i hear you say. Well, fear not young Debbie, this can commence straight away - well, as soon as I get back from the US.

I think it's mostly because I never really have anything to talk about these days, regardless of who I'm talking to, I seem to dry up after a few sentences. That and I don't seem to do very much with my spare time anymore except sit in front of the telly! Am sure I'll snap out of it soon enough. Am trying to find myself fairly low energy hobbies to get me off the sofa a bit. :)
