Well it's been ages. Oops.
Hey kids!
It has been a while since I posted - many things have happened. Well, one thing.
I went to AMSTERDAM!!!!! It was awesome. We stayed in a five star hotel - oh yes that's right; complimentary mini bar, breakfast buffet included, remote control curtains and the comfiest bed I have ever slept on. While we were there we went on a tour of the red light district, visited the Van Gough museum, the sex museum (was a little dissappointing, actually, but is something I can tick off the to-do-before-I-die list), went on a tour of a working windmill complete with Dutch miller, went to a traditional cheese factory, went to a clog workshop and visited Anne Frank's house. It was a fab weekend and exactly what I needed and was great to share it with the pretty pub_girl ladeee. *nods*
Housemate B decided to have an Ann Summers party a few weeks ago. We only had one guest for the first one so we moved it to tonight. We now have three guests and I'm only certain that one of those will turn up. I've invited about 30 people from work (raided every email list I could think of) and only two said they could come. The rest were either busy or didn't respond. Not quite sure how I should feel about that. *shrugs* Housemate G is away, so that means that we have a maximum of 5 guests. Shouldn't imagine the Rep will be overly impressed...
Had dinner with Cousin H last night - went to Bar Meze which is fab and I haven't been there for ages. She's in the country for a while so should get to see her a bit, she has a book launch on Friday night! Very exciting. I've been to very few book launches that I wasn't working and never to one where I know the author, let alone for the author to be a relation! We're also plotting another Berlin visit for me in May which will be awesome. I'd better dust off that German language learning kit I bought a few months ago and still haven't got round to using (sorry pub_girl)...
Anyhoo, I'd better go buy booze for tonight, so I shall say bye. Bye! xxx
