Remembering and missing his Mom on the 21st anniversary of her passing due to lung cancer. Strange as it sounds he's still thankful the progression of it was quick, with her having gone to a specialist 13 days beforehand for her shortness of breath, went to a walk-in clinic 11 days beforehand because she was having difficulties breathing where she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure due to blood clots forming in her lungs and then when still feeling badly 9 days beforehand she was admitted to the hospital. During an appointment the day before she passed away between her, him and the doctor, the doctor relayed how they were to remove one of her lungs but the likelihood of her surviving more than a year or two past that were small. The next day, around 3 pm, her lungs began spasming because the tissue itself was being starved of blood because of the tumors formed around the blood vessels. The staff performed simple resuscitation but because she'd asked for a DNR when the simple stuff didn't work, they thankfully let her go.
Love you Mom. Miss you Mom. Still fighting the good fight, having taken after you in that, even whenever having fallen then a quick dusting off and getting back into it again just as you would.
