Selling Out

Oct 25, 2010 22:25

I've done it, I've sold out.

I've needed a job for some time, so now I have one, albeit quite temporary. What is it doing, you ask? Ahaha, actually, I spend my days campaigning for Republicans in the upcoming election. Usually this involves making a lot of phone calls to motivate Republicans to vote, but it sometimes involves something else.

Have I mentioned that I despise most of what the Republican Party stands for? Yep. So I have sold out, trying to motivate people to do something I really don't want them doing for $10 an hour. It's a crappy job, though I could do worse. Have an interview tomorrow for another job. Seasonal. Pay is crap. But hey, no matter how well the Republicans lose or win, I'll still be out of work November 2.

Still seeking a law job, too. Wish I hadn't gone to law school. I think it fits me well, I think it's something I would enjoy, but making a job out of it is just really hard to do right now, and I don't seem to be getting anywhere. Can't take it back, though, so might as well keep trying.
