Sleepless Knights (cont.)

I don't remember if I posted about it or not, but I took my MPRE the week after the Bar exam. I didn't meet my state's standards the first time around (though I did meet the standard of quite a few states). I was a little worried about it. The first time around, it kind of jumped out at me. I studied on my own, and there were a lot of tough questions, particularly questions concerning the rules for judges, which was not amongst the materials I studied.

This time around I was a little bit worried, as well. I did use a guided study, but the materials for the study arrived a day and a half before the test; I did not realize that they would be automatically sent to me, rather than sending them when I specifically requested them.

I didn't get a lot of study time, but the test seemed significantly easier this time around. There were few questions regarding judges, and the handful of tricky questions related directly to some of the points made in my directed study.

It was going to be a close call between getting my MPRE results and Bar results. My Bar results come out on Friday, and my MPRE results had a range of weeks it could be in, but I just got them. I scored a 104. While this isn't "great," it is 18 more points than I need in even the toughest state in the country, so as far as ethics are concerned, I'm good to go anywhere in the country.

The Bar seemed rather easy. Sometime in the next 48 hours, I'll know if I am going to be licensed or not. Weird.

I think I'll stay up all night tonight. My sleeping has been off lately, even for me, so I could use a day off to try to fix everything. Sleepless nights.
