006 - AnthroCon 2005 Debriefing
•What an incredible experience. This being my first con, I am flabbergasted over the event. There is absolutely no question that I will include AnthroCon in my future summer plans.
•I would like to thank Aubrin, Hida, Penn, Rakeesh, and Tannyk for taking me in when I found myself wandering homelessly. Moreover, thanks to all the furs that made my vacation.
•Sorry Iron-Wolf, I wish we were better prepared. The first day was an organizational nightmare. Seems everything worked out.
•Here is the breakdown. Iron-Wolf and I made our last packing effort through the night of the fifth, rather poorly on my part. Flying out soon after, we eventually arrived in Philadelphia albeit very drowsy.
•This is approximately the moment when I realize my cellular phone and camera flash are back in Calgary. I really wish I had my flash. Philadelphia is an extraordinary city.
•Anyhow, we bumped into a couple furs whom we first met hours ago. This was a great opportunity to save money by sharing an airport van.
•Making our way into the hotel, I immediately stumble across my roommates. However, Iron-Wolf is not so fortunate. Luckily, it seems he eventually sorted out his rooming woes.
•I might add that on our first trip for food, Hida ironically receives the fortune cookie “You will find yourself at a meeting where strange customs is the norm,” or something to that effect. We will have to frame that one.
•The next several days are intense and exciting moments of insanity. I meet so many furs and acquire some tremendous art. Thank you Frisket for the badge, Dark Natasha I love my Moon Song, and thank you every one that signed my book.
•I could justify flying out to AnthroCon just for Uncle Kage’s story time and 2’s rants. Of the organized events, these two are the highlight of my trip.
•To every one wanting my photographs, I should have them linked soon after I sort them.
•To 2 the gryphon, sorry I could not reach the elevator door. I hope that you will not terminate my existence.
•To blairkanine, I am sorry for dropping fan boy on you. I really wish I had the chance to sit and talk.
•To the ill fated Bagheera, I really enjoyed finally meeting you. I hope that you feel better soon.
