More left than le liberation (the super-left newspaper)
I have l'humanite' in my room right now. I just think it's kind of awesome that one of the top (well, you know, top 10) newspapers in France is a communist publication.
My host mom's birthday is this weekend. I have no clue what to give her. She really likes presents, but obviously I shouldn't buy something expensive. I was thinking of getting some of the photos i've taken printed and framed. But she's already seen them. And she has a shit-ton of photos on her walls (she's always complaining about how many she needs to put up). So I guess she likes photos, but perhaps she has too many? Another idea I had was to get her a microphone for her computer because she just got her computer and it's novel for her to get computer accessories.
This week she bought me candy (for Chinese new year) and a green cardigan. It's really sweet of her. But not necessary. Comments anyone?
Also, I am going to London and/or Oxford the weekend of the first (of march).
