providence is wonderful.
i headed over today to the white electric, a coffee shop that will soon be my new home. it was very crowsenburg's/stumptown, a long, narrow space with a 1950s display counter and a dog i got the impression was there frequently by the name of echo. the mugs, even, for coffee, were the same ones as stumptown uses. also in the day's adventures was a trip to armageddon, a funny little deathmetal record store that was selling, because i think he works there, fantastic and colorful screen-prints of posters by brian chippendale, of the local heros, lightningbolt.
i need a bicycle. i need a bicycle and this town will be mine.
