Natural High

So with American Idol reaching it's end, so has summer reached an end. Hello rainy season!
Woot, global warming. I'm starting to get paranoid with the wave of apocalyptic stuff in media saying that the world would end in 2012.

Anyway, all we can do is live in the present, with the future in mind, huh?

Speaking of "living in the moment"... I'm missing school. Not really the stress, the demanding schedules and need to balance priorities (although at some point you grow to miss that too, for its own unique effect on your life). I miss school for the people there, for the things I can do while I'm there. For the whole feel of the academe, being in the academe. UGH. I'm alive when I'm there.

It's ironic, really. That when school starts, I look forward to the comforting thought of having a warm meal and a comfy bed waiting at home. When I'm home, I look forward to days when I have to go all the way there because I actually need to do something and make a difference somehow.

So, being the random person that I am.

Thank you everyone! Though I know a number of you won't be able to read this (maybe I'll gather enough randomness and guts to tell you in person). Thank you for giving me a reason to live. (not that I don't have one... but, you make everything even more meaningful)

And to finish this random entry off... I repeat the words from a recent post secret postcard (maybe not in exact words but "in spirit"):

be kind to everyone, because we all have our personal troubles to deal with.

musings, summer, random
