Aidla watches the little creature with absent curiosity, still lost in the wonder of willow whips and feeling protective of her friend's sadness.

-Hmmm. I got a new family. I can't remember if you saw some of them the last time you saw me or not.-

"Um." Ed thinks for a moment. "I think I met one of them between then and now. He looked like you except larger and blue. Can't remember his name though. If he's said, I've forgotten."

She tilts her head, tail switching slightly. -Varek or Elfangor?-

"First one, I think. I sort of remember him mentioning the other name in reference to someone else."

((And of course, the mun couldn't find the sprocking thread when looking for it recently to look something up which is contributing to Ed's memory issues. I think I might've forgotten to save it in memories. Or just hid it really well. ._.))

She gives a soft mental chuckle. -Yeah, Elfangor is our War Prince. An old guy. Varek makes things.-

-I didn't really know them.- Her reply is nearly too soft to hear, and her eyes don't leave her work.

"Your parents?" Ed guesses.

She nods, the human gesture of 'yes' no longer awkward.

"My father is--I don't know where the hell he is, actually. He left when I was a little kid so I don't remember much of him. But my mother's dead. She got sick with something and by the time anyone knew about it, it was too late," Ed offers.

-Ohhhh. No, it would make me run.- She stamps a forehoof as though feeling the urge anyway.

"I just sort of froze. My body couldn't seem to decide between the fight and flight thing. It didn't take him long to figure out his screw-up though."

-Dumb guy.- She stamps her hoof again.

"Heh. More like 'not thinking about how he sounded'. I think he was too busy doing the whole 'guy with a job to do' thing to remember that there's better ways to express things."
