Alright, I did this stupid thing where I went and bought a whole mess of books (last week) while completely disregarding the fact that I have absolutely no time to read any of them. Amazing stuff. I'm going through one book right now and I'm stuck at the 3/4 mark. So... let's go and list them all down.

1. A Disorder Peculiar to the Country - Unfinished
2. Faith Under Fire - This is a memoir of an army chaplain in Iraq and how he deals with his faith and God, during and after the war. Also Unfinished.
3. The Silver Screen - I just kind of picked this up at random. I don't even know what it's about. Haven't started.
4. Road Dogs - I bought this with "Faith Under Fire" during one of those P50 hardcover sales... It's an indirect sequel to the book Out of Sight... which was turned into a movie with George Clooney... and J.Lo... haven't started.
5. The Natural Disorder of Things - It's by an Italian author... I don't know what it's about... Also a product of the P50 hardcover sale.
6. Perfume: The Story of a Murderer - I saw the movie in college and I've been interested to read the book ever since. The way I see it, reading about scent is more visceral than... watching... scent... which... you can't really do.
7. Never Let Me Go - I really want to read this because I saw the premise on a blurb for the movie that just came out and the premise sounded awesome. Also Pauline says it's really good.

So these are the books on my list. I really wish I could sit down and read a whole lot more. Sadly I'm confined in a cubicle on most days... with someone peering over my shoulder to see if I'm actually working.

Also! I finally got my hands on a copy of "Gotham Central: Joker's and Madmen". I just have to say. I love. This. Series. Seriously. Whoever came up with this concept of a police procedural in a city inhabited by a crazy flying rodent crazed vigilante... is genius.

So that's me and books. I'll tell you about them as I go along.

See you soon folks! Read on, loves!
