The Year End Survey

Dec 30, 2009 22:02

Hello folks. I know I've been absent for quite a while, and maybe even longer. This still seems like a good idea though. Do enjoy.

1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?
I was High School Camp counselor! This year I told a girl I didn't really know that I liked her. I've also never been a discipler before.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
In January I resolved to try and stay silent. I don't know if I succeeded at that. I'm pretty sure I didn't. But I do know that I'm a little more reserved now. So that's some kind of victory. I don't know about resolutions this year. I want to be a little more spiritual this year, and every year after. I need to be a little more communicative with God.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
I believe T. Grace gave birth this year! Also, I think Ate Gina is due sometime soon. I'm not really sure.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully no. Although my Dad did lose one of his cousins.

5. What countries did you visit?
Once again... Stuck at home. I will not allow this to continue. It just can't.

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
Hrm. Maturity and Responsibility.

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
January 1 - One of the worst days of my life so far, and yet, here we are again. It's like I never learn. Watercolor Baguio - Where I took the blame for every freaking thing that happened. Dammit Sean. High School Camp - Where I was a counselor for the first time! College Camp - Last one as a camper! August 3 - Operation Crazy Nightingale!!! October 13 - The Day I Told Someone I Didn't Know That I Liked Them (500) Days of Summer - Watched it with Sandra during our Dress Up thing! It was a marvelous evening! PEPPER LUNCH! Typhoon Ondoy - Rescue and Relief Operations. November 13 - 14 - Built to Last. Christmas Day - Bowling with the Cousins!

There are a lot more, I'm sure. But these were especially delicious. The year was kind.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
High School Camp counselor and Discipler. Cum Laude standing. All I need to do now is graduate.

9. What was your biggest failure?

Sandra Dans and The FA people for being a source of constant joy. Mark Del Rosario for being one of my best friends. Manny Pacquiao for winning 7 World Boxing Titles. Najee, for being incredibly patient with me.

31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
There isn't just the one thing. It's a difficult question. Maybe if I were done with School. Or if I wasn't such a huge jerk to my friends. Or if I actually got over my hang-ups. I don't know.

39.Song lyric that sums up your year:

'Coz I know, I'm so easy to persuade
Why do i cling to the little that remains?
But in the end, there's something you can't erase
Oh but you know, I'm so easy to persuade.

-Easy to Persuade by Sondre Lerche

Happy New Year folks.
