You know what I don't understand? Our country is the richest nation in the world and we have the best technology and blah blah blah, but yet.. people in New Orleans are stranded on an interstate overpass starving and dehydrated. Why haven't the Coast Guard or local law enforcement attempted to rescue or drop some supplies to these people? I know they are overstretched down there with all the mass destruction but it seems that the survivors would be a major priority.
